Dominic Venturo is Senior Executive Vice President and the Chief Digital Officer of U.S. Bancorp. He hasspent the past 26 years with U.S. Bank in positions of increasing responsibility within digital, innovationand product management.
As Chief Digital Officer, Dominic is responsible for setting and executing the enterprise-wide digitalstrategy for U.S. Bank. The Digital team works to empower our customers with excellent digitalexperiences, so they can bank when, where, and how they want, with smart, personalized tools thathelp them manage their money. Under Dominic’s leadership, U.S. Bank has been recognized as aleader in digital banking, including the No.1-rated mobile app in the industry, among numerous otheraccolades for digital mortgage tools, mobile check deposit, user experience and more.
Dominic was Chief Innovation Officer at U.S. Bank from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, he led theinnovation team for U.S. Bank’s payments division and held a number of other payments-relatedpositions. Dominic also held various roles primarily focusing on Small Business at Bank of America and itspredecessors from 1989 to 1998.An accomplished speaker and industry visionary, Dominic has received numerous awards, includingbeing named to theTop 25 Most Influential Innovators list by Innovation Leader, Elite 8 by Bank Systemsand Technology, Innovators to Watch by Bank Innovation and Mobile Banker of the Year by BankTechnology News.
He has served on the national board of Girls With Impact (GWI), a nonprofit that focuses on leadership,entrepreneurship and innovation. The program helps women ages 14-24 increase their confidence,college readiness and professional skills – expanding the talent pipeline of women, particularlywomen of color,across industries. Dominic has also previously served as a corporate board member forenterprise software firm R3 and was a former board member of the Minneapolis College Foundation.Dominic earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Oregon State University and is a graduate ofthe Pacific Coast Banking School at University of Washington.
