Jeff Tijssen is an Expert Partner and the Global Head of FinTech at Bain & Company,and is based in their London office.Jeff has worked with many of the world’s leading financial institutions to lead large-scaletransformation efforts and design, buildand launch new digital ventures. He was on thefounding team of several digital banks and has successfully built several newbusinesses.

Jeff has spent over 20 years advising clients how to transform their organisation anddevelop new innovative businessmodels and capabilities, and works extensively withleading FinTech players and neobanks around the world as they explore new avenuesfor growth. He also advises many of the world’s largest private equity investors.Prior to joining Bain, Jeff built and led the global consulting business at 11:FS, aFinTech consultancy, and worked for two other leading global consulting firms. He hasheld executive roles in the digital and innovation space at various Tier 1 banks aroundthe world, and has experience working in Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, LatinAmerica and the Middle East.

He is a Board advisor, a speaker at international industry events, and has beenpublished in renowned media outlets such as Bloomberg, Financial Times, HarvardBusiness Review and The Economist. He also sits on the Board of Trustees at theShakespeare Schools Foundation and the Dutch Centre.Jeff holds a MSc in Economics and Business from the Erasmus University in TheNetherlands. He lives in London with his wife Katya and his daughter Ariana.
