John Imbriglia

CEO Crowd Street

John is the CEO of Crowd Street, a leading marketplace for private investments with over $4 billion of platform assets, where he oversees the company's overall strategic vision and growth. John has over twenty years of investing and operating experience at the intersection of financial technology, the private markets, and high net worth investors. 
 
Prior to joining Crowd Street in 2024, John was a General Partner at Platform Capital Management, a venture capital firm, where he focused on financial technology investments. 
 
Previously, John was a Managing Director and one of the first employees of iCapital, a global, market leading financial technology platform that simplifies access to alternative investments for high net worth, broker dealer and wealth platforms with approximately $200 billion of private equity, hedge fund and other alternative assets on its platform. 
 
Earlier in his career, John worked in the investment management divisions of Barclays and BNY Mellon. 
 
John holds an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BA, Cum Laude, in English Literature from Georgetown University.
