Missy Stewart Benavides is a product and innovation leader in commercial and digital banking with experience turning emerging technology into practical business results. At TD Bank, she has led digital banking innovation initiatives, supported enterprise use case development and pilots, and helped advance generative AI priorities aligned to business strategy. She previously led small business banking innovation efforts that resulted in an award-winning cash flow forecasting and insights tool for business banking customers. Before joining TD Bank, she held leadership roles at Bank of America spanning digital transformation, pricing strategy, and commercial lending, where she helped shape end-to-end digital lending and servicing experiences for clients. 

Missy Stewart holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from the University of South Florida. She is a 2024 TD CEO Leadership Award recipient, a Women in Payments USA Rising Star finalist, and has a patent-pending AI tool. She is based in Charlotte, NC with her two daughters and husband.
